Is it a sign of madness when you don't recognize an obsession before everyone else?
Three times yesterday, someone in my family commented on the abundance of hexagons in my sewing room. Not in a bad way, but after my almost seven-year-old said something, I knew I was in trouble. Typically, that boy doesn't pay attention to much more than Legos, Life cereal, and Nutella. I'd been caught.
And I'm over it. No guilt. Love these. Love how easy they are to cut out. Love machine piecing them. I like that I get a visually interesting quilt without piecing individual blocks.
And I'm sorry, but I'm just a little bit in love with this flimsy:
Ain't she purty? Love love love those big flowers. And it came together ridiculously fast. Not like my Glamping flimsy, which took ages and ages (or at least it felt like it!). I think this big hexie die and I are going to be great friends.
Shhh. I'm already planning my next one. Or two. Okay, two.

Oh my! I love it.
