Make-A-List Monday: Yep, even today I'm making a list!

I know, Christmas is Wednesday. The next two days are really just getting ready, and going to family dinners and finishing gift wrapping. But I do have plans for the days right after Christmas.

But first, my plans last week:

• Make five sets of dragon wings

That will be my eleventh hour project. See machine problems below.

• Make a Union Jack quilted trivet for my mother-in-law

Done. Hope she likes it!

And yes, I know it's a bit wonky. It's too close to Christmas to be a perfectionist about it. And she's supposed to cover up the wonkiness with a casserole, so all is well!

• Finish Sophia bag for my niece

Done. Super excited for this one!

• Finish Sophia bag for my daughter 

Not done, but it wasn't going to be a gift, so not a priority.

• Finish Glamping Weekender for my sis-in-law

Here's where I've hit a snag. Got all the panels pieced, the piping made, the pockets attached, the zipper panel done. Went to sew one of the front panels to the zipper panel/bottom. When my machine gets to the thick stuff, it starts skipping stitches. Like, 8 or more at a time. Making me go a bit bezerk.

So, genius friends, how to I fix this?

I think I need a break from Amy Butler.

 And now, for this week, besides the awesome family time!

• On the 26th, I need to press and prep at least 10 quilts and their backs (London Trips, PKM Pinwheels, PKM Scrappy Trips, Cowgirl SW Taffy, Posy Kiss Me, Lucy's Triangles, Flirt Briar Rose, Glamping Small Hexies, Delft Blue Dutch Pinwheels, and Citrus Starbursts)
• On the 27th, I get my Christmas present
• On the 28th, I get to enjoy more of my Christmas present
• Ditto for the 29th, and the 30th

 It's a joint gift, between my husband and his sister. He watches the kids all day, I get to use her Gammill. TEN quilts! Think of it! And if I happen to get all of them done before my time runs out, I've got more, never fear!

I'm really hoping I CAN do more. Wouldn't that be awesome!
