Make-A-List Monday: It's my birthday week!

You'd think I would certainly toss the whole list-making thing the week of my birthday, but this week has to be extra coordinated. On top of which, I decided to complicate things with the quilt I plan on finishing tomorrow. So it's kinda crazy right now!

For sewing/quilting:

• Finish five more scrappy trip blocks, then add two more columns of blocks to the quilt top I thought was finished and will be once I do this! Fun story there - I'll tell it on Friday when I post the finished quilt
• Get a button cover kit and some elastic to finish my new tablet cover - gonna be SO CUTE!
• Cut the neutral for the rest of my Ruby Grannies and finish them up
• Cut and sew together the binding for this scrappy trip quilt
• Cut and piece the backing for this scrappy trip quilt
• Find an awesome jelly roll pattern for a charity quilt

That last one is going to be tough. I won some fabric from Craft Warehouse this weekend. They were doing a "fabric selfie" contest in their stores and I happened to be there on Saturday getting my neutral for my Ruby Grannies (can't beat $5/yard on Moda Bella Solids!). I snapped a photo, posted it with the right hashtags and left it at that. Found out last night I was a winner, and this is what I won:

Oh my. SO not me. But luckily, Sarah over at Confessions of a Fabric Addict is doing her Hands 2 Help charity quilt challenge. I've got a couple other quilts that I'll be sending, but I figured I could make this one up into something pretty and send it as well. I might not love batiks just yet, but someone else might! Go, sign up! There are giveaways, but the best giveaway is helping out these amazing organizations.

So if you have a great jelly roll quilt suggestion, help a girl out. I'm thinking maybe Camille Roskelley's Hopscotch would be fun, with some bright red or yellow triangle points. And yellow I've got!
