Fabric Tuesday: Blooming Lovely Open Season

Two things, before the pictures.

First, go check out my second quilt pattern, Taffy, and enter to win a copy of both my patterns. And enter at Katie's blog too! Katie is the genius behind my perfectly nested seams on my patterns.

Second, I did a little holiday wish listing yesterday, and you can too! Just blog a list and link up!

Okay. Phew. That's done. On to the finished quilt:

I finished this top on my retreat in January, and it's a fun one. I'm wanting to gift this one, but I'm not sure where it should go. I think my couch is a great spot.

It was a windy day yesterday, and cold. My little troopers tromped all around the park with me, collecting leaves and letting me know just how cold they were. But we found some great picture taking spots!

I used the Open Season pattern from Schnibbles Times Two, but I used a fat quarter bundle of Blooming Lovely fabric I'd won ages ago, and added a bunch of coordinating FQs along the way. I'm calling it my Indian Summer quilt.

She's backed in pink polka dot flannel, and so cozy. Perfect for a cold November. And I found this funky pink and brown leaf fabric for the binding on the clearance table! Love good finds like that.

Abraham Lincoln approves.

Checking it off the 4QFAL list.
