I used 24 FQs to make this quilt, which sounds like a lot, but you get some decent scraps out of the deal, and you have enough for a scrappy binding.
She finishes at 66 by 87 inches, making her perfect for a picnic at the beach, or watching fireworks this summer.
My amazing pattern tester Kate is making her blocks with her Dr. Seuss stash:
The pattern works well with solids too. Check out the maxi version (coming next week):
She's for sale in my Craftsy shop. $5 this week. Enjoy!
Maxi patterns coming soon, as well as minis of my best sellers Flower, Taffy and Make It Do.
Yay, thank you! This is my favorite of your patterns, and I have several fat quarter bundles!! I have paid for it and I'm looking forward to making this sometime this summer!
ReplyDeleteThank You!! I am looking forward to making this quilt. I have ordered it and look forward to using some Bonnie & Camille. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteAnother great quilt! Your quilting makes it looks so cosy.
ReplyDeleteAnother cracker, Jen! I'm still amazed you make quilts as big as this at home ... and with 5 kiddies! I'm curious as to how you decide which fabrics go with which best - these are all placed so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Off to buy mine now, thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI really like your block design and color placement with the fabrics. Looks great with prints or solids, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great design, really love your version and the solids.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! I didn’t think that anything could come close to my love for “Flower” … and while Flower is still my fave… this comes in a really close second!
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous pattern! It looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely!
