Make-A-List Color Monday: Surgery!

Oh, I'll 'splain. Promise.

But first, my list from last week:
  • Finish the Giveaway Weekender - DONE and blogged here!
  • Finish cousin's Weekender - DONE! Blogging this week!
  • Bind Wee Wander Pillow Shams - DONE and blogged here!
  • Bind Solstice Table Runner - DONE! Blogging this week!
Hey! Four things done last week! That's great, because I won't be getting a whole lot done this week.

I'm checking in this morning for gall bladder surgery, so I'll be laying low and healing this week.

But I still need a list, and fortunately, I have embroidery to do!

To complete this week:
That is all. If I am feeling better by Friday, I'll get some cutting done, but I'm not pushing it.

And just for fun, I'm having a "help me pay the anesthesiologist" sale on all my patterns. $5, Etsy and Craftsy shop. Recovery week only!

So what kind of color palette do you do when you're having surgery?

A good friend told me that she craved fruit right after her surgery (and I have to follow a low-fat diet for a while anyway!). So I chose melons. I LOVE all melons, especially watermelon and those yummy Tuscan cantaloupes.

What about you? What would you crave after surgery?

  1. I just had mine out in January....sherbot and toast were my go to foods. WIerd huh! Took awhile for the digestive system to balance out. (Like almost 6 months) I take a Super Ensyme Pill fromthe helath food store and that helps too. GOOD LUCK!! You WILL feel sooo much better afterwards!

  4. I hope all went well with your surgery. Lucky us - I'm having my gall bladder removed in September. About the only thing I've craved after surgery is water. Get lots of rest and TLC this week.

  5. Good luck! Well, I guess more to the surgeons. And to the kids, to allow you real recovery time. But you - take recovery time! You are Supermom, but you're allowed to have a break and heal!

  6. I have been away for a while and missed this. I hope all went well and you must be fully healed by now and back to your old self, judging by all the amazing finishes! How do you get so much done?! I am astounded.
