Edited to add that the pattern is available now in my Craftsy shop! Hope you love it.
My seven stockings a-swingin' at my house. So glad I replaced the old ones!
Hand embroidered our names on the cuffs. Backed them all in this candy cane print.
Linking up! And crossing the stockings off my 4QFAL list: I've finished seven projects so far! Only 31 more to go! Just kidding. There's no way I'm getting that many more done. But a girl can dream, can't she?
Linking up with Amanda Jean and Sarah. They both have some pretty cute finishes today.
Christmas is getting closer, y'all! Top secret sewing going on over here, but I'll post what I can, when I can!
Holy wow! So gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWow! My whole family thinks these are amazing. It tempts me to try, but my boys love their fuzzy stuffed animal stockings. The names you embroidered are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey look beautiful. Did you trace a font for the names or just go for it? Lovely.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are so cute!! Love the red and white piecing and the personalized embroidery!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful and the wall hanging is ingenious!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJennie, these are just delightful! What a lovely Christmas you're going to have :)
ReplyDeleteLove the red and white Christmas Stockings. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the stockings are so incredibly adorable! Love the names in redwork!
ReplyDeleteOkay, first, they are simply gorgeous! The embroidery is beautiful and I love how they are the same but not.
ReplyDeleteSecond, really? You have a William and a Caroline? Caroline is my top pick girl's name, and the little man in Korea is William.
Those are sure fine stockings! So perfect with that sweet rack to hang them from. I love how each of them has a different design, but uses the same unifying fabrics. Great job on the embroidery, too! Congrats on a beautiful Christmasy finish!
ReplyDeleteOh your embroidery is very, very nicely done! It must be wonderful to have them done and now you can admire them in your home daily.
ReplyDeleteThey look amazing together. Congrats on the Q4 finish and yes, dreaming is a prerequisite for quilting.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous, Jennie! And I love the dedicated wall hanging piece!
ReplyDeleteThese are so adorable!! I envy your embroidery skills. ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cute stockings. I love the embroidered names. So how many more to really finish by end of December?
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE those. I made each of my kids a tree skirt for Christmas this year, but ran out of time to make stockings. And the fact that I can't think of how I wanted to make them, but I did want them to coordinate. May I ask what kind of pattern you used, or where you found the idea.
ReplyDeleteI know this is an older post but I was wondering if you ever did a tutorial on this? If not, would you mind sharing what size are the half square triangles?
ReplyDeleteI know this is an old post too...but would you ever make these to sell? In love!
ReplyDeleteHi Megan - hope you see this, as it's my only way to contact you. Would I ever make these to sell? Yes, if there were enough interest. I'm working on the pattern right now. If you'd like to chat about getting some ordered for next year, I'd be happy to figure it out with you. Just let me know!
DeleteThis is the first time I saw this message. Here I am... a year later... and I still love these stockings so much. Did you get that tutorial up anywhere?
DeleteHello! I was wondering if you were still interested in making these to sell? I lOVE them too! They are adorable!! If you are please e-mail me at jpayne57@gmail.com

Hello! I was wondering if you were still considering selling these? I LOVE them and would totally want to place an order if you do decide too. Obviously it is a little late for this year, but I would still like to order some if they are for sale. Please email me at jpayne57@gmail.com if you are interested in making them to sell. Thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteI was going to knit stockings for my family, but now I'm seeing these beautiful stockings and wondering if you have a pattern or tutorial in the making?
