Pretty mail!

I did pretty well at our county fair this year. My Glamping Weekender took first (I'm not going to wonder if it was the only item in that category or not), and my little sunshine wall hanging took third. I got a bunch o' ribbons in the food categories, so I'm happy.

With my winnings, I bought fabric. Pretty pretty fabric.

My daughter has been after me to make a Spell it with Fabric quilt, so we ordered a Horizon jelly roll to use for it. She likes it because there is absolutely NO PINK. Apple: Tree.

And then I scored a Fancy Layer Cake from the Texas Roadtrip QAL! So so so so excited! I'm going to be making a Lucky quilt with it, and I can't wait to get it cut out.

  4. Congratulations on your winning! Our District Show (same as County Fair) is next Wednesday. I've entered some quilts, and the kids have entered heaps of art and craft. It's the only kind if show I'll ever out my quilts in!
