Teaser shot

Just because I love ya!

And I love this dresser. So very much!

Promise a full shot that isn't in the garage next time. With the mirror attached.

One question though: what do I put on the top of this thing? Some baskets for "stuff"? I don't want it cluttered, but I don't want it empty either. HELP! I seriously have no idea. Really. This is coming from the girl whose clothes are currently in plastic bins in the closet. I'm that clueless.

Well, pictures would be good. I might get a bunch of white frames for some black and white pictures. Any other ideas?

  1. Gorgeous finish! I love it and I normally don't care for that shade of blue. Pictures are always good to have out to see. Maybe something that is special to you, figurine or a wooden box of some sort. However you decide it will look awesome. Can't wait to see the chair.

  2. How do you refinish projects like this? Did it have a veneer type of top and the rest wood? I have one I would like to redo but do not know how.

  7. Yes, I'm with Sonia B, a woven silk scarf would be a great start; baskets are a personal favorite, pictures, too. Your jewelry box if you have one would be a pretty addition to this inimitably lovely dresser. The color arrested me-an aqua which borders on sky blue and yet has that green undertone that brings to my mind tropical oceans.

  8. I keep a small tray on our dresser to hold my watch and glasses. We keep the alarm clock there too so I can see what time it is without having to sit up and peer over my husband.
