Fabric Thursday: Flower Sugar Economy Blocks Stage One

Y'all, my mother-in-law is the greatest. No, really. She kept the kids all day. Like, "Jennie, stay away until bedtime" kind of all day.

So I did. I finished quilting two quilts, I wrote a chapter (that seriously needs revision, but oh well), and I finished piecing this:

Like I mentioned Monday, this is just stage one. I've got to do a border, because I have the fabric and I want it big enough to put on my bed. Because I don't have enough quilts for my bed, it would seem.

I'm going to link up over at Quilt Story, even though it's Thursday. The linky party is open, and I'm okay with being a little late to the party! And my little Sew Together bag got featured over there this week too!

  4. these fabrics just make my heart happy! This is going to be an amazing quilt, I can't wait to see it finished! (And, there are never enough quilts for a bed, it's nice to change them from time to time so that one particular one doesn't get wore out!)
