A smallish finish: Vintage Happy Sew Together Bag

Just a little something that was on my 4QFAL list. Sending this one to a friend soon.

I'm loving these little bags as gifts to sewing friends. I'm actually making them for my Crafty Ladies from church as gifts. They are just so handy. Although here's a question: how do you personalize it? Favorite colors? What if you don't know them that well? And it's such a silly question, "Hi, what's your favorite color?" SO third-grade, don't you think?

Don't forget to link up your gifty finishes. Just a few more hours to go! Oh, and my pattern sale started this morning.

  1. Such a wonderful gift. You could personalize with a monogram, or watch what colors they wear a lot. But third grade questions are still okay to sneak in conversations.

  3. Adorable, Jennie! Do you need to personalise them? They're so gorgeous but I don't think its tooooooo 3rd grade to ask someone their fave colour either :)

  4. TOO CUTE! I adore it! I don't see the pattern for this on your pattern page. If its not yours, where can I get it?
I've been checking out your quilt patterns. I'm trying to decide what to get. I love them.

  5. Going super scrappy means you are bound to hit on at least one of their favorite colors! Love these little bags!

  6. These bags are so cute. Are they difficult to make? I have the pattern but haven't gotten the nerves to try it yet.

    1. Hi Camille - you're a no-reply blogger, so this is the best I can do!

Not difficult at all to make. Just follow the instructions carefully.
