WIP Wednesday: Ruby Grannies Flimsy

If you're interested, my Sew Mama Sew Giveaway is here. It's a good one. I promise.

What has taken me so long to finish this quilt?

I started it ages ago. I'm not even going to tell you when.

I stalled when I needed more Ruby squares to make the borders. Some generous friends came through and I got her all finished.

Now, how to quilt it? Like my Sew Cherry Grannies, or my Sunkissed Grannies? This girl is destined for my bed (I know, I have quite a few to rotate through!). What I really need is a B&B. I've mentioned that before, but it's true. Then I could have my quilts on display all the time!

  7. The sun kissed granny quilting gets my vote. I love the bigger loops with the big flowers. :)

  8. I am a huge fan of granny square quilts! I think your border really adds to your quilt! I started a Bonnie and Camille's Vintage Modern Granny square quilt a few years ago. I need to go back and finish it! Plus I will be adding a border! Thanks for sharing!

  12. This is SO fabulous!! (And so big!) I love the look of the granny square quilt, and yours is one of the best I’ve seen. I’m no where near wanting to take this block on yet… but if I ever do, I’ll be back for inspiration. ;-)
