No, I'm not getting that watch for Christmas this year.
No, the best Christmas gift ever, for me, is time. Time to sew and create. Time to get caught up on projects. And since we're poor law students (okay, he's a poor law student, I'm just the wife), time is the most economical gift. And it's just what I want.
My law student is getting nearly a month off between semesters, which means he'll be around a lot. Why not put the man to work while I get some sewing done?
So when my darling, poor husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas that was inexpensive, I told him.
I want time. That's it.
