No-List-Monday: A Whatever Kind of Week!

All my posts lately have been list posts, so I hereby ban them. For a whole week.

We had a fabulous visit with our friends. Great fireworks (hearing my husband giggle like a school girl every time he lit a firework and ran back to the sidewalk was a highlight), great food, great company. We played hard!

For those who want to see what it's like to float the Boise River, here you go:

The water was refreshing, to put it mildly. My hands and feet were numb by the time we were finished! Super fun though. We'll do it again in August.

So this isn't a list, but just a hodgepodge of what I might do this week:

sew more Glamping hexies (I did lay out 3 more columns last Wed. before they arrived)
sew those nightgowns (the serger issues have been solved - can I get a Hallelujah!)
cut and sew borders (yes, I actually decided on some borders!) for my Happy Go Lucky Briar Rose flimsy

Or maybe something entirely different!

Have a great week y'all!

  1. It's been awhile since I visited, but I read some of your posts today. I just had to post: I spent my 8th grade summer working in nampa, topping corn, and our end of the season party included tubing down the Boise river for a few miles: it was so fun!! Have you settled into Boise well? I hope so. I was out in Nampa around the 20th of july, but it was a quick 2 day trip to see an Uncle who was diagnosed with cancer. Have a great week!!
