This was, quite possibly, my oldest WIP.
Started it in Seattle. That was over 3 years ago.
Methinks I'll be donating this one to Mitchell's Journey. I'm a follower on Facebook, and the sweet, tender words of this heartbroken father are always amazing reminders of what should really matter, especially to me. So anything I can do to lift a burden, I'm going to try to do.
By the way, let's talk labels.
I want some custom ones. Anyone else had some made? I like the ones that look like library cards personally. I wish I was talented enough to create one. Grrrr. Any ideas?
Linking up - crazymomquilts has a stunning machine quilting sampler quilt today. Go check it out!
And checking it off the 2QFAL list.
What a beautiful quilt!!!
ReplyDeleteMake a lable at Spoonflower.com. That's where I made mine. I can help you if you need it. I would be happy to do so. =)
Hi Jennie. Nice to re-connect with you. Your quilt may be older, but it's a classic. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI am off to read about .mitchell
So beautiful. My sister loves the blue and white. And three years isn't too bad!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love blue and white quilts. :) I hired someone to make me a logo, which I will then print on Spoonflower fabric for labels. I think I'm going to print it to make corner labels sewn into the binding - I prefer those to stitching it to the quilt somehow.
ReplyDelete(Also, I'm checking my email again...fiddled with more settings. Am I still showing as Kate and katiemaequilts @ hotmail . com?)
How did I miss this post? What a beautiful blue quilt ... I want to make one now!
ReplyDeleteThree years isn't THAT long for a WIP! Well, not in my house anyway. It's a classic quilt. I really like blue and white for my bedroom.
