Well, after reading all your comments last week, I think it's time for a Maxi Quilt Revolution. Stay tuned. It's coming!
In the meantime, I'd like to show you my third pattern, Five Spot.
Yet another Fabulous F8 Quilt, and more than generously sized at 74"X95". This girl will cover your toes just fine and still reach your chin!
As you know, I've been banned from HSTs and QSTs by Kate, the Goddess of the Nested Seams. She's been editing and testing and red-penning my patterns, and so this one was a breather, I hope. Some cute little on-point four-patch blocks, some Birds in the Air blocks and you're done. Sashing (I love my sashing!), a border, and one big quilt! Kate started on a baby quilt by testing one block. I'm loving the non-white background. This is a great big scrap buster kinda quilt:
It's going to be a cute baby boy quilt!
I used the Spring 2014 Flower Sugar F8 bundle from Westwood Acres, and I'm seriously loving the bright colors.
Five Spot takes just 24 F8s, plus some yardage for the background, sashing, and border. The blocks finish at 18" square, so it all comes together pretty quickly.
Want to win a copy of the pattern? Want to win a copy of all three of my pattens: Make It Do, Taffy and Five Spot? If you don't want to wait to have a copy, she's on sale for $5, this week only in my Craftsy store.
Leave me a comment. Last week we discussed Maxi quilts (and I hope you're ready for the Maxi Quilt Revolution coming up). This week, I'd like to know your thoughts Etsy vs. Craftsy: which do you prefer? I like Craftsy because all my purchased patterns are all in the same place. Very user friendly, in my book, and why I chose to open my shop in Craftsy instead of Etsy. But Etsy is a little prettier, and easier to search. What about you? Which do you prefer?
Giveaway runs through Thursday, November 20th at 11:59 p.m. Winner will be notified by e-mail first and announced on this blog. If you're a no-reply blogger, I can't contact you, which means you can't win a pattern. So leave an e-mail address for me just in case!
