When the cat's away . . . .

. . . the mice start new projects and eat Toblerone!

Tried quilting my Gypsy Girl quilt. Didn't go well. Finally listened to my sister-in-law, and I'm going to wait until I can get up to her house to use her long-arm. It was just too hard to maneuver through my machine, what with all that minky. Grrr.

So I was looking for something to do. I stumbled across this quilt and remembered I had a bunch of different oranges, yellows, greens and pinks just waiting to be made into something. So I pressed fabric, cut, organized and got to making blocks (tutorial here).

Here are the first four:

I have enough cut to make 36 blocks. I might cut 6 more to make the quilt 6X7 (yes, that would be 72" X 84", but we like our quilts big and cozy around here).

Linking up!
