4QFAL Finish: Citrus Starbursts!

Nothing particularly special about this, although it should be noted that it is as scrappy as I've ever gotten. Not all of these fabrics are related. See, I'm getting there! It's controlled, but I'm getting there.

Quilted all over in these wavy pointy swirly things. I'm pretty sure that's the official quilting term for them.

My girls have claimed this one for their room. And who wouldn't - backed in orange polka dot minky? Although the boys are starting to complain, so I suppose I should finish some more masculine quilts for their room.

Checking it off the 4QFAL list. Wahoo.

  2. Nothing particularly special??! Naughty Jennie - all quilts are special and this is sunshine bursting off the screen. Just as well your girls have claimed it otherwise I would be :)

  3. See, that's where it starts - same color scheme, not all the same line. Then you find you can branch out a bit more, and more...but never full on scrappy. ;)

  7. This quilt is special! It's gorgeous and your girls love it. Haha I love your proper quilty terms, I use them too. I still struggle with completely scrappy too. I like a theme, or order, or a whole range, too!

  8. I love this quilt! And I know exactly what you mean about having a hard time with "scrappy". Lately I've been trying to force myself out of my comfort zone and get a little scrappier.
